Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Tai and Spider Girl!

Christmas Eve was indeed merry and bright! See how our faces glow with the anticipation of the holiday! (We have taught ourselves how to make martinis....)

There was much dancing around the living-room to the music of Brick House. There was the making of luscious butternut-squash/grannysmith apple soup and quiche lorraine.

Friends visited, bringing cookies and conversation.

I got to feel Kim's baby kick!

And a warm and mysterious wind blew outside, making it warm enough to stroll about without a coat.

It was a day that had a cosy glow about it.

You guys look like you had fun, maybe with the help of the martinis. Those look like they are flavored, I like the sour apple ones. It has to taste like candy for me.

Merry Christmas Spider Girl!

I had a martini on Christmas Eve too. Although mine was the old fashioned kind with an olive and Grey Goose vodka.

Are you sure that rosy glow on your and Tai’s cheeks is from the season? Methinks the martinis might have something to do with it. The Chinook seems to be wandering all over this year. I heard Christmas was sunny over your way too.

I had two great Christmas dinners, and two fun-filled evenings with friends. My only worry is, since I am such a night bird, that I outstayed my welcome because I didn't want the night to end.

I wasn't with family, but I am lucky in that my friends take great care of me.

I can attest to the fact that they were both rather giggly, but not yet stumbling, when I dropped by with cookies. :D

Happy Yule to all!
