New Car

Scenario A:
"...And show our contestant what's behind Door Number Three, Vanna...Yes! She's won a new car!

* the crowd goes wild.....Spider Girl jumps jumps up and down *

Scenario B:

Spider Girl and Jeff spend a week roaming used car lots under a baking sun, calling upon all their haggling skills to finally purchase a shiny 2002 Toyota Camry for what they hope is a reasonable deal. They both feel like they've been run over by a train, but the ugly and newly-unreliable Dodge Shadow is history.

You guessed it: Scenario B.

Hi Spider

Hello spider! Spider are you there?!... hmmmm, must be sitting out in the new wheels...Guess I'll just leave a massage...

I'm glad you got a newer more reliable vehicle but I also mourn for the old Magic Dodge that could hold so much and amaze your fellow flea marketers. I hope your new car has the same magic...

Congratulations on your aquisition of a new beast of burden (and a shiny maroon one with AC, too!)

Why is it always scenario B? ;) Glad you've got a car that won't die mysteriously any longer (please, oh please, oh please!)

I didn't know any of the DS were even still running. An ex had one and it litterally fell to pieces in 2 years. 3 replaced motors, bumper fell off, brakes going out while driving, and a slew of other probelms, he called it quits when the stearing wheel came off in his hands on the highway.

Congrats on the new car. Toyota is the most reliable in my book.

Good for you! I always said that Toyotas were the way to go... Remember the ancient Tercel I drove until it disintegrated? Took, like 15 or so years to do it?

Hooray! A TOYOTA!!!!! they are the height of practical and reliable, and they hold there value so well that if it turns out not to be what you need you can certainly get a good price for it. Did they give you a "trade in" value on the DODGE? Or did you not want it to hurt your bargaining power? The one thing I am very good at haggling about is cars.

Congratulations on the new car! I'm sure you will love it...Toyotas are typically reliable.
